Today, Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Note 2 will be coming to the UK on the 1st of October, which is a whole month earlier than the US. The huge 5.5 inch “phablet” will be available to buy at Samsung’s own store in London as well as all major retailers. Some are already taking pre-orders.
Clove is currently offering an Unlocked 16GB Galaxy Note 2 in Marble White and Titanium Grey for £528 ($857) including VAT. However, if you want a contract, the handset is likely to be free.
The Galaxy Note 2 will be boasting a 1.6ghz quad core processor with HSPA+ connectivity. What really makes the Note 2 stand out is the 5.5 inch 720 p Super AMOLED display. It also packs a 8 megapixel rear facing camera as well as a 1.9 megapixel front facing camera.
Just like its predecessor, the Galaxy note 2 also comes with Samsung’s S Pen stylus which is great for making notes, drawing pictures or just interfacing with the device. It will thankfully ship with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean with Samsung TouchWiz user interface sprawled over the top.
